I went to my first Graduate Student Association general assembly meeting yesterday. Talk about a lot of information at once! I took notes spastically while trying to listen to everything that was said. There’s so much going on in GSA and so many committees and obligations…and did I mention perks? We all got tickets to go see the Cardinals game next week. Cool, huh?
Once again, I hope I’m not kicking myself later about my new appointment as student representative. I’m usually not the type to take student leadership positions like this. Maybe that’s why I have it. It’s time for me to get a good helping of bureaucracy. We’ll see what happens.
